ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Believe Tees, and Apparel was born out of a simple but undeniable call from God placed on the heart of founder Jovonn P. Jefferson. Jovonn didn’t just want to make clothing—he wanted to create conversations and spark conversions. One day, as he prayed about how to glorify God beyond the pulpit and outside church walls, the Lord revealed that the T-shirt — one of the most common garments in the world — could become a walking billboard for the Gospel.
From that moment, Believe, Tees, and Apparel stopped being a business idea and became a Kingdom assignment. The motto, “Wear What You Believe,” is not just a slogan — it’s a mission. Every design is created with one goal in mind: that someone, somewhere, would encounter Jesus simply by reading what you are wearing. Whether you are in the airport, Target, Walmart, at school, work, the gym, or just taking a walk in the park — your clothing becomes a silent preacher.
Jovonn believes that while many people may never walk into a church or listen to a sermon — they will read the message boldly displayed on your shirt.
